The confident friend

Back in a while ago. When I was in my school days, a farewell party was being conducted in our school. I was a pretty good singer at that time. So I was forced to take part in the events and I did. So eventually I started preparing for the song that I was to sing. And at last the day came. At that time I wasn't quite well known for my confidence. I could recite a small poem in the stage at my best. So, I was sitting in the backstage filled with nervousness and fear of the shame that I would have to face if I couldn't sing well.

At that time I had a friend who was a very good dancer. He also participated when forced by others like me. We had about 5 minutes of difference between our performances. He was the first to perform from both of us. So at last the time came and he went out there in the stage to perform. Well, when he started dancing, he danced so well that I couldn't take my eyes off from him. Every step that he took, every action that he did seemed to be perfect. It looked like he was having all the confidence and skills that someone possibly could have. Well at last when he ended his performance he got a huge thunderous applause from the audience, which he actually deserved. As he returned to the backstage, I reached him to congratulate for such a marvelous performance. But then he said something that shook my world and brought me to senses. He said "Oh! I was so nervous out there. I hope I did well." That was when I realized that not everybody is as awesome as they seem to be. Everyone feels like you do. All of those who seem to be so confident, cool, stylish and talented are looking at you the same way, thinking you're stylish, cool, confident and talented. But deep  down inside only you know how you feel.
After that incident, my confidence reached a whole new level. I was comparatively very less nervous. Soon after that, my turn for the performance came and that day I singed my very best and shook the whole stage.

My fear

Back in a while when I was a student, I was asked to prepare a speech to deliver in my class. At that time I used to be a nervous kid so this wasn't something that I would love to do. But anyway, next day I came to the school, all prepared. But I was nervous and soon
fear took all over my body and mind. My chance was to going to come soon. But then I eventually I remembered something. My mother once told me of a trick which she said would decrease my fear. The trick was that, I need to think about what are the things that I fear. She said that only by knowing you fears, you solve half of them.
I thought of giving this trick a try and it actually worked wonders. I realized that even if I got tongue tied in the middle of the classroom, no one would laugh at me because all my classmates are my friend and knows my weaknesses. And I came to realize that my fears didn't have any foundation at all. And as powerful as they seem to be, it was so because I had given them my power. That day, I gave a wonderful speech cause I wasn't afraid of anything anymore. Thanks to my mom.

Choose to be happy

Once there lived a man who led a very happy life. He worked hard in his fields to feed his family which consist of his beautiful daughter Serena and his wise Mary. One day while he was working in the fields the earth started shaking very furiously. They soon realized that this was a major earthquake. Praying nothing bad would have happened, he reached his home. But when he reached his home, all he could find was a shattered house. Luckily no one from his small family was hurt, as his neighbor told him. He found his wife sitting under a tree nearby with his daughter, crying very bitterly over the loss of their beloved home which consisted of so many beautiful memories.
He reached out for his wife, comforted her and said. Either we can have a broken house and be sad or we can have a broken house and be happy. We'll have a broken house in both the cases and it won't change. So I choose to be happy and recommend the same to you.

A Teacher's Plan

I have a teacher in my school who is one of the most inspiring person I've ever met in this world. Let's name him Surendra  Bora for the sake of confidentiality. He also updated valuable life lessons on Facebook everyday. But one day he updated something which was so valuable that I had to share it to as many people as possible. His update was as follows:-
My plan for life.....
I'm 31 years old..... so as per my calculation I've only 29 years left on this planet.... so I want to enjoy each and every moment of my life.... I don't want to sleep more than my requirement.... because time is very less but there are plenty of things to do....
I've to learn a lot of new things..... so I can teach lots of new things to my students (current as well as future)
I've to see many beautiful things around me..... so I can tell each of my student that how beautiful is the life.
I've to meet many beautiful and good people..... so I can teach my students that there is nothing more beautiful than making good relations.
I've to spend lots of time with my daughter so till I leave her on this planet she could be good, strong, self dependent as well as a very lovely and caring woman.
I've to spend some very beautiful moments of life with my sweet heart..... my wife.
I've to take care of my parents..... in their old age as lovingly as they did when I was a kid.
I've to inspire each and every person who come across me.
I've to........................................... the list is endless.
But most important I've to tell that god is perfect....... he can never be wrong and he really loves and cares for everyone.
So.....enjoy..... just log out from the online world and enjoy the real world around you.
